Safety Check Day at the Hut - date is confirmed

*********UPDATE 1/29/2020********* Safety Check Day is postponed from 2/1/20 to 2/15/20 due to lack of snow.  Third time the charm?  Think SNOW!

 *********UPDATE 1/12/2020********* Safety Check Day is postponed from 1/18/20 to 2/1/20 due to lack of snow.  Good news is that Deputy Battista has confirmed he will have safety stickers by then.  Now we just need snow!

Safety Check Day is postponed from 1/4/20 until 1/18/20 due to lack of snow.   However, it is also TENTATIVE.  This is the note from Deputy Battista: "We could tentatively schedule the date but at present the Windsor County Sheriff's Department does not have a contract with VAST as they changed how they contract with VAST and are currently working on a new contract.  We currently do not have any safety stickers." 

With that, we will hope that it all works out for 1/18/20.  We'll keep you posted!

Want to get all of your safety inspections out of the way? Officers from the Windsor County Sheriff Department will be on hand at the Side Hill Croncher's Warming Hut to give you a safety sticker if you pass. We'll even have free hot dogs & hot cocoa. Raffle to be drawn at the end of the event.  The groomer should be there as well.  This event is dependent on enough snow. Check back as we get closer to make sure the event is on. Event is at the Warming Hut at the intersection of trails 127A & 127B. See you there!
